You'd not notice any difference, same FPS, same processor usage, although there's a few tweaks worth doing, especially reducing audio samples back to 16.
Its not bug free, there's a really anonying bug that causes the game to freeze every time you open an ammo box on a dedicated server. BIS are aware of the issue and hopefully will fix with a beta patch real soon.
Certain rifle scopes can now be zero'd, this is usually on the sniper rifles and all rifles are using a new recoil system which to be honest is a little harsh at the moment, but BIS wil be toning it down in the next beta patch.
Some rifles have laser dots, which makes night missions fun.

The Takistan army and militia do have some poor quality weapons, like the Lee Enfield and T34.
What's really nice is that you can still play as all the factions from the original ARMA2 as well as the new factions like the US ARMY, Czech Republic, Takistani Army, Takistani Republic, United Nations and of course civilians. Same goes for all the weapons and vehicles from ARMA2, they're available in OA if you have ARMA2 installed.

Hats off to BIS they've fixed the ammo box crash/freeze bug with the latest beta today.
